ACTION FOR OTHERS
CREATES A BETTER WORLD FOR
Enactus is a global organization that is committed to encouraging entrepreneurialism and empowering others to live a more sustainable life. This is done through enhancing individuals' livihoods: social, human, physical, financial, environmental. Graceland Enactus is committed to this mission on the Graceland campus, in the Lamoni community, and internationally.
Pictured above is a group of our Enactus students who traveled to Zambia this summer to do project work in the local Zambian communities with the non-prfit organization, Health Ed Connect.
Pierce's Dairy Cup is one of 4 local restaurants that our team works with. The main project that we are currently engaged in is called Midnight Minchies. Midnight Munchies is where one lcoal restaurant stays open from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. every other Friday night so that college students have a place to eat late at night.
This year one of our Enactus teams started a project called, GU4U. GU4U is a mentorship program for students on campus to connect with working professionals in their field of study. As of right now, there are 42 professional pairings.
Our Enactus team has been working with Graceland University, the Lamoni community, and with individuals abroad for over 25 years. The impacts that our team has made are substantial and long lasting! If this is a program that you are interested in joining, visit the Enactus office located in the MSC across from Info Central, or email Sara Ruckman at the email listed below.
