What is the cost of the Winter Term, The Book of Mormon and the Lands of Mesoamerica?

The cost for a full time Graceland University student who is among the first 20 students to register is $1725 per student. This fee covers airline tickets, all transportation, lodging, two meals a day, and a good supply of drinking water. Only incidental costs such as souvenirs, camera film, and snacks are not included.

Note: Students must have a passport. Visa fees are included in the above amount, but the initial cost of the passport is not.

The total cost depends on whether you are already a tuition-paying student at Graceland, and whether you are among the first 20 to sign up for the course. If you are not currently enrolled at Graceland, the cost depends on whether you want credit for the course or not. The following table gives the charges due to Graceland University.

Winter Term Cost
DescriptionFirst 20*Regular cost
Full time Graceland student**$1,725$1,975
Non-student***$1,825$2,075

* A gift from ouside sources is being applied to partially offset the cost for the first 20 to register for the program.

** Includes full time Graceland students signed up for either Fall 2004 or Spring 2005, as well as those eligible for tuition benefit.

*** Includes a $100 fee for anyone who is not paying Graceland tuition and who does not want Graceland credit for the course. If you wish to get University credit, you do not pay the $100 fee, but you must pay $470 tuition per credit hour (i.e. $1320 tuition) in addition to the program fee. If you are a graduate of Graceland, and have been away from school for more than 3 years, the tuition is cut in half.
