Construction of Desargue's Configuration

1. Pick any triangle ABC and a any point G. (It is best if G is not on Triangle ABC, but G may be either inside or outside of triangle ABC.)
2. Draw a triangle DEF which is perspective to ABC from point G.
   1. Draw lines AG, BG, and CG.
   2. Pick any point on AG and call it D.
   3. Pick any point on BG and call it E, but make sure that AB and DE are not close to being parallel. (You want the point of intersection of AB and DE to be on the page.)
   4. Pick any point on CG and call it F, again making sure that BC and EF intersect on the page, as well as AC and DF.
   5. Draw the sides of triangle DEF.
3. Extend corresponding sides of triangles ABC and DEF to the line of perspectivity and draw the line.
   1. Extend the lines AB and DE to their point of intersection, and label this point H.
   2. Extend the lines BC and EF to their point of intersection, and label this point I.
   3. Extend the lines AC and DF to their point of intersection, and label this point J.
   4. Draw line HIJ.
